My daughter and I recently stayed at the Franklin D. Roosevelt Hotel in Pars (from 11/12-11/14). We cannot say enough about the beauty that is Paris, and cannot say enough about this charming hotel. Though the Franklin D. Roosevelt is located on a small, non-descript side street (rue Clemont Marot), it is centrally located, not far from the Ave. de Champs Elysees, the Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomphe, and a plethora of restaurants. It is a small hotel, but beautifully appointed and very clean. Our room was spacious, though not palatial, and decorated very nicely. The beds invited sleep; the bathroom was small, but, again, very pretty (plush towels and bathrobes provided). The staff was amazingly helpful, particularly with my daughter’s and my tres limited command of the French language, and kind. Room service was incredibly fast; the coffee wonderful, and the basket of assorted breads served with the Continental breakfast fresh and tasty. We were both very impressed with this hotel, and would recommend it very highly to everyone. The price (250 Euros per night) was reasonable, considering the location of the hotel and its ammenities. The three days we spent at the Franklin Roosevelt were all too brief, and greatly enhanced our stay in the beautifuly city that is Paris. Please consider this hotel when you next visit the City of Lights.
