Wonderful small hotel

We just returned from a 7 night stay at the Hotel Franklin Roosevelt. The location was perfect, close to the Champs Elysees, the Seine and several metro stops. We stayed in a deluxe room on the 5th floor which had a small balcony with a table and chairs. I felt the size of the room was more than adequate with a spacious bathroom. Everything was decorated beautifully and was very pleasant. The hotel staff were very helpful with directions and restaurant reservations. We loved the neighborhood. Many small restaurants to walk to, many upscale shops, a little market across the street and a wine shop right next door. We bought a few bottles, brought them back to our room and put them in the minibar. It was great to come back in the late afternoon and enjoy a glass of wine before we went out for the evening. The breakfast was pleasant though it was not included in the price of our room. There were people staying there that said it was included in their package deal. The continental breakfast was 15 euros and included coffee, juice, fruit and pastries. We did do this a few mornings but found we liked going out better and for usually around 6 euros. I do not think you will be disappointed in this lovely hotel. Everything about our stay at the Franklin Roosevelt was wonderful
