Our first visit to Paris and we could not have wished for a better hotel.
The staff were welcoming and friendly, and nothing was too much trouble for them. The rooms were a good size - ours had an enormous bed, despite being a “standard”. Housekeeping was excellent.
A superb location, tucked down a small side street, 200m from Les Champs Elisse, with a great selection of restaurants and cafes within easy reach. Ave George V is in the opposite direction and at the bottom of the road, Rue de Montaigne leads towards the Eiffel Tower.
The cost of the buffet breakfast has just risen to 23 euros, so if you are able to get a price inclusive of breakfast, it’s worth it - it
is served from 7am - 12.30pm each day.
My only criticism was the air conditioning in our room was faulty, and
despite informing reception, remained so throughout our six-day stay.
The rooms are overheated, and opening the windows can mean an icy blast.
